u r H i s t o r y
Forest Med-Surg Center, with some 30,000 patient visits per year, began as Forest Hills Medical Center in 1976. One of the first such facilities in the State of Illinois, Forest Hills was a free standing ambulatory surgery and medical center serving the communities of Argo, Beford Park, Bridgeview, Burbank, Chicago Ridge, Countryside, Darien, Hickory Hills, Justice, LaGrange, Palos Hills, Palos Heights, Hickory Hills, and Willow Springs. In 1986 the building was purchased by Mercy Hospital and Medical Center Chicago and became Mercy Medical Justice. In 2001 the facility was acquired from Mercy Hospital and underwent a two million dollar renovation which was completed in 2006. The facility has been a LICENSED and ACCREDITED Ambulatory Surgical and Treatment Center since 2004.
